Mom and Dad recently made a huge change in their lives. They moved from Rosholt, South Dakota to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they have several close friends. They purchased a beautiful house with pool, and have already had many family and friends as guests. They enjoy Nevada winters much more than those in the upper Midwest, but I miss not having them so close. |

My brother Joe married Holly Slaamot in February. Despite a typical South Dakota blizzard, they had a wonderful ceremony in Sisseton. Joe and Holly have decided to buy our parents' house eight miles outside of Rosholt, and we are all thrilled that we can still go "home." Joe works as a diesel mechanic in Wheaton, Minnesota, and Holly is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and works at the nursing home in Sisseton. |
